The Aspen Buzz – December 2015

DECEMBER 2015
The town is getting ready for the biggest few weeks of the year!

Dreaming of a white Christmas?
Over a foot of snow has fallen with more on the way!

Dear Clients and Friends,
I sit at my desk looking up at Ajax with sore quads and a full heart after a big storm dumped over a foot of snow and I got to spend the day skiing powder with my son on the backside of Aspen Mountain. What more could I ask for?
With over a foot of fresh snow on the ground and more on the way, there’s no doubt it’s going to be a very white Christmas. While the rest of the country ponders unseasonably high temps and no snow, the streets of Aspen could not be more festive, blanketed in white with holiday lights ablaze and good cheer in the air.
We are so excited for the holiday season. And with record breaking sales still on the rise in downtown Aspen, 2016 promises to be a very good year.
As always, call us for all of your sales, buying or rental needs.
Please stop by if you are in town. We wish you a joyous Christmas and a happy, safe, and healthy New Year.
My best regards,

BRAND NEW HIGH SPEED QUAD LIFT FIRES UP AT HIGH ALPINE IN SNOWMASS
Out with the old, in with the new: the old double chair finally gets an upgrade.
Sure, the old double chair is always good for resting the legs, quality conversation and a little posterity, but the new High Alpine lift at Snowmass is an upgrade that was probably long overdue and will greatly improve the skiing experience in the High Alpine area. The 30-year old fixed grip lift was replaced with an $8 million high speed quad that cuts the ride time in half, from 11 minutes to 5.6 minutes. The new lift has been realigned to allow guests to ski from Rock Island, AMF, and the Cirque without dropping to the lower mountain to access the High Alpine area and provides easy access to Green Cabin.
