THINK SNOW: Experts Predict Ample Snowfall for the 2015-16 Ski Season

The word is out: it’s going to be a big snow year. Check out the chart below: accuweather-atd-101615

Experts say the 2015-16 ski season will bring plenty of snowfall due to an El Nino cycle this winter. The southern Jet Stream track across the state will decide how much of a dumping Colorado and the ski resorts will get, but so far, it looks pretty good. According to Aspenweather.net, above average snowfall can be expected at the local ski areas, roughly 15 percent higher.

According to AccuWeather.net, we can expect above-average snowfall early season through New Year’s, then mildly above average, and huge again. Bottom line: It’s going to be a great ski season and we can’t wait to get out there–especially because our office is within walking distance to the gondola–so chances are good you can find us on the mountain!
