Summer's Here!! - June 16th, 2011

Yesterday's presentation from the director of Food & Wine magazine said not only is this a "sold out" weekend with 5,000 attendees (the largest in several years), but it is the biggest weekend for Aspen since the X-Games in January.  There is nothing left to rent for the visitor this weekend either.

The outlook for business and real estate this summer season is very positive. 

Real Estate:  There are many new listings at extremely aggressive pricing.  For example, three homes on Red Mountain just came on the market at over $3,000 per square foot.  Are they dreaming or do they know something we don't?

Contracts:  Since May 15th, there have been 11 closings that ranged in price from $848,250 to two homes over $14 million.  There are currently 19 properties under contract that range in price from $599,000 to two homes over $17 million.  Please call us for precise information, we have details for all price ranges.

Music:  Don't miss the little known music nights at the "club" in the lower level of The Little Nell Hotel on June 29th & June 30th.
